Hi Folks,

Does ANYONE have E-Sword version 10.4 FULL INSTALL or know WHERE I can get it?! I have the 10.4 UPDATE but NOT the FULL INSTALL file. I wrote to Rick about the matter but he never got back to me about the mater.

Thanks Much!!!

Clint

Thank you APsit190 I downloaded it after backing up Esword just in case I lost my notes...but I didn't; the notes were all there. I did have to restore e-sword settings because in the Study notes the verse pull down menu was blank and that fixed the problem, thank you again I so hated the 11.0.6, now I can parallel the KJV with the Greek, God bless you sir.

More than 2 yrs. have passed since the last post on this, but I'm adding to it because as of now (with version 11.2.2), the HTML versions of e-Sword still aren't as stable under CrossOver (same with Wine?) as, say, version 10.4, the last non-HTML version. The most important aspects of the program do work. The lack of stability is more annoying than anything else (such as brief visual glitches every time one advances a verse by using F12, or the inability to adjust fonts. This is with Linux Mint 19.1, Cinnamon. So some might still want to download 10.4, depending on the resources one uses.

Nothing against APsit190, but uptodown.com (see link above) doesn't have the best safety reviews. download82.com also has the file & I found no bad reviews on it. I did an online virus check on their e-Sword file & it passed that test, so here's the link for anyone who wants it:

http://www.download8...indows/e-sword/

As of the date of this writing, download82 has versions 10.4 & 10.2.1.

Blessings!

And Clint, I realized after I wrote what I wrote that for version 10.4 to be a real option, one already has to have the modules needed for it, because the great majority of Bibles, for example, or commentaries available for internal download (i.e., not from BibleSupport.com) are only compatible with version 11 and up.  : /

I have all my bibles and commentaries etc. backed up on another drive so, for me going back to 10.4.0 was as easy as uninstalling 11.2.2, installing 10.4.0 and dragging and dropping contents of those backed up folders into the e-sword directories and i was back up and running. I talked to Rick about it but it seems we were at an impasse so, i just opted to stay with what I have, i have too much going on to take the time to deal with a glitchy app right now. I pray he get's it fixed in the future but until then, I'll just stick with 10.4.0.
