(make first a backup of the .txt file).
You need to change the extension .txt to .rtf WITHOUT converting the file.
The problem is that you use Foreign Characters and that soft return is not supported in .txt but in .rtf and .htm
I don't want the same problem as in your previous topic when you save it in Tooltip Tool
Use Notepad and type this in the beginning:
{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang2057{\fonttbl{\f0\froman\fprq2\fcharset0 Times New Roman;}}
{\colortbl;\red0\green128\blue0;\red0\green128\blue128;\red255\green0\blue0;\red0\green0\blue255;}

This is a soft return\line and every Bible verse must end on a hard return.\par
Rev 22:21 .... Amen!\par}
Save the file and rename it to example.rtf
\tx1077 is the space(Layout) measure for the whole file in rtf code
\line is line break or soft return in rtf code.
\tab is to make space (Layout) in rtf code.
\par is a hard return.
\par} is the ending.
\cf1 \cf0 is green in this case in rtf code
\i \i0 are italics
Now open the example.rtf with Tooltip Tool.
I should first use notepad for \line and then if it is done saving it as .txt and rename to .rtf
Then using Tooltip Tool to make an e-Sword file WITHOUT saving this file.
The HTM version is easier
<br> is soft return
<p> is hard return (every Bible verse must end on a hard return)

Suffix to add to each line: <p>
