This is the first major module i have taken up. It is completed. I did not have any confidence when i took over this module. i thought it will take min of 4-6 months. but with the help of our members i am able to finish it in a months time. i want to thank each one of you who visibly/invisibly helped me to complete this module.
  • First i want to thank GOD for giving the strength and HOLY SPIRIT for HIS Guidance in using short cuts while formating the modules. I pray everytime i work on a module
  • Thank all those who prayed for this module
  • Larry G for encouraging me to take up the module and helping me to find the copies of original text. He is the one first i met on this site thru IM. He gave complete overview of the site and introduced me to tools. He is my first inspiration to start a module.
  • Then comes our Bond.....Josh Bond(001) for teaching me the macros and regular expressions and faster way of doing modules. He also helped me to find out most of the original text online inspite of his busy schedules. I do not want to give you 007 :) because 007 has license to kill but you license to life. life to the souls thru this site. so you are 001.
  • Brent for his wonderful tool and listening patiently to me even at odd hours when i faced errors. Fixed all my problems with T4.
  • Doctor Dave for his encouraging words in between thru IM.
  • Niobi (Patchworkid) for teaching me how to format modules using T4 and introducing me to tool tipping verses. always extended help whenever i asked.
  • Bradley S Cobb for teaching how to convert roman no verses. this really helped while working on 1026 hymns
  • Peter(pfpeller) who taught me how to convert a module to Droid MySword Version
I am sorry for pinging most of you and causing disturbance. especially i pinged Josh several times. He is always patient to answer. Now i am mostly familiar with tools and it wont happen much :) in future.

I retained the original format in Christian library 30 vols. due to this you may encounter large paragraphs at some places. let me know if it is causing any problem.

As no work is perfect 100%, i am sure there may be some errors in these modules. I request the downloaders to post the following errors, if they find any as reply to this post. i will also re check these modules and post an update with corrections after some time. i do not want to face John Wesley waiting for me with a stick when i go to heaven for these errors. :)
  • OCR Errors
  • Spelling mistakes
  • roman nos still present in verse references
  • in correct verse references
  • any discomfot reading large paragraphs
  • any verses missing tool tipping
  • missing topics
I always wanted to contribute something to eSword and my dream has come true thru this site. Having great sense of satisfaction and peace in heart. Thank everyone for giving this opportunity.

with Love
david

Brother, I just downloaded and briefly scanned through these modules! My goodness, what a marvelous endeavour you accomplished.

This is going to sound silly (perhaps) but one of the things I really like about your modules is how you back the text off the edge of the screen making them easy to read. My eyes are going bad and it's hard for me to read when the lettering is all the way to the edge - who would ever buy a book with printing all the way to the edge of the paper? Your modules are always a pleasure to have.

Thank you David. Blessings to you and yours. lg

I told the LORD,
You are my master, [Heb. Adonai]
I have nothing good apart from you.

As for the saints that are in the land,
they are noble, and all my delight is in them.

(Psalms 16:2-3 ISV*)

Looks wonderful, David. the formatting looks especially good, including the tooltipping, paragraph spacing, line spacing, and chapter divisions that appear in the left topic panel.

It's great that you take such pride in your work and have a great attitude about formatting. Not everyone does and it's always nice when someone comes to me and says, "how can I make my module better". Because when I have to suggest better formatting to people, that sometimes doesn't go well at all (and I hate being the "bad guy")

I appreciate your good attitude and your module's quality speaks for itself! That's exactly the way I would have made that module. Very nice.

Josh

David,

You've done a very nice job putting this work together. Congratulations on your workability and from the sounds of it, your teachable spirit, thanks.
