I'm new to android and to MySword. I have MySword set up nicely on my tablet, then found this site through the MySword site. In the MySword section of this site I saw some apps that I really wanted. Downloaded them to my tablet, but then I'm at a loss as to what to do with them. I don't see any way to put them in MySword. I'm missing something, but what?

Hi Richrol,

Welcome to BibleSupport.com. The easiest way to do this is to connect your tablet to a computer with a usb cable and once it is connected select the disk drive option on your driod tablet and select done. You should get a popup on your computer to open the file structure for your android device. You may have more than one drive, depending on your device. They could show up under My Computer as two different drives. You need to locate the drive that corresponds to youd SD card and find the MySword folder. You then need to locate the files you downloaded on your droid device and paste them into this folder.

If you cannot find the files, you can re download them onto your computer and paste them into this folder. Hopefully you can locate them and move them so you do not waste disk space.

The files you are looking for will have a .mybible extenstion.

After pasting them into your mysword folder, then you need to disconnect your android tablet from your PC and wait a couple of seconds for it to prepare your SD card. YOu then need to open MySword and go menu/exit. Then open MySword again and your new modules should be there.

Let me know if you need additional help.

Peter

All,

I found out today that David Cox is going to be converting his theWord modules to MySword and posting him at his site. I have taken down a few of the MySword modules to avoid confusion. I do not have permission to make modules yet from Bible.org, but David does. He thinks that he will be starting within the next month (twmodules.com).

There are a lot of modules that David has made that are not available in e sword. It will be a blessing to have two sites that are converting/posting modules for MySword.

I will continue working on converting some of the E sword modules available at www.biblesupport.com to MySword.

Let me know if you have any special requests.

Peter

The Maclaren MySword commentary has also been updated with the additional comments that are in the updated e sword module.

I would like to see an interlinear Greek New Testament bible made available. If there is one out there I have not found it.

Mattsh,
I converted a Greek interlinear to MySword (IGNT+). It has an extra Green G after each Greek word. I have to open the file up in textpad to do a search and replace to get rid of the little Green g's. I probably will not have time to do this for a couple of weeks. If you would like to use this imperfect file in the mean time send me a note to pfpeller@yahoo.com and I will send it to you.

I will also look around for other files to convert.
Thanks,
Peter

Hello,
I finished formatting the Greek New Testament Interlinear for MySword today. Please let me know if you find any mistakes. I did a lot of searching and replacing to fix up this module for MySword.
Thanks,
Peter
