So in the past I had converted modules from PC .bblx to Ipad/Mac format .bbli

...but I can't recall how I did it. I thought I used Simple Bible Reader and just manually changed the format from .bblx to .bbli but that method doesn't seem to be working anymore. On Mac, E-Sword recognize the files but won't open them when the extension name is changed

Are there multiple methods to do this? Is there a version of Simple Bible Reader that includes .bbli, .cmti?

This method wasn't working for me - http://www.biblesupp...r-ipad-from-pc/

Can E-Sword Tooltip NT Tool convert from .BBLX to .BBLI?

Please advise

Thanks in Advance,

Hi Adam,

About a year ago I did a video on converting e-Sword for Windows resources to e-Sword X, HT, and LT. BTW this includes Bibles as well.

So, with that I trust you will find this helpful.

Blessings,

Thanks for sharing that but unfortunately it seems to give the "locked module" error even on modules that shouldn't be locked. I was only able to get it to work with one or two.

I remember perhaps a previous version of that same utility having a broader compatibility?

Would anyone have the .exe file of an earlier version of that program file? Any other ideas?

Blessings,

Adam

Any module that was downloaded via e-Sword's internal downloader will be restricted, even if the resource is Pubic Domain.

If you have links to the files you need to convert, please give them so that someone can try to convert them for you.

I just copied some new downloaded bbli files and imported them into my Android E-sword, I also downloaded the Convert.exe, tried to run it and it said it could not install because I am using a version less that 12, I like the version I have it has a tab on it that disappeared when I tried to update, I don't want a newer version that one of the tabs is taken away.

so I guess I will have to make a backup of my present e-sword (already done), install version 12 or whatever do my converting and then after I have converted all the stuff I use in my PC e-sword. to bbli, then I can revert back to my older version 11.1 a round about way to do what I want. this has already been a very bad day for me, a lot of things went wrong today, and this is the last thing.
