In the software of e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT when creating the module of dictionary, is there a way of inserting images?  If so, how, what is the proper format.

Thank you.

Click Insert from the main T4 menu. Then click Images. :)

Also make sure that #define version=3 (not 1)

And finally, make sure Modules > Use Old RTF code is not checked.

The e-Sword authoring tool, called ToolTip NT, is here: http://www.biblesupp...ooltip-tool-nt/

Or you can send me the material and I'll see what I can do.

Dear Superhero (that is anybody who comes to my rescue! :-)),
I'm new to this website and I hope that I'm on the right forum to ask my question...

First of all, I have to inform you that I'm still using an old version of e-sword (7-1-0).
Before you groan and roll your eyes in disbelief, let me explain why:

I'm busy to create a study bible module, and I'm using MS Office Access 200 for it.
(I'm in South Africa and software costs a fortune due to the exchange rate, we pay at least ten times more than Americans, I cannot afford to upgrade).
I'm just scared that if I upgrade then I will not be able to edit by mdb database anymore? Or is there a solution?

Also, I want to create a cmt module to post comments to synchronize with the bible module. I've probably spent about two hours looking for info on how to do it but didn't find any (it's not in the e-sword user guide that I downloaded either).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Like we say in Afrikaans - "baie dankie!" (it is pronounced like "buy a donkey" and it means thank you very much!)

Regards, Gerhard

The modern tool to make commentaries for the latest version of e-Sword is e-Sword Tooltip Tool NT available here FREE:

http://www.biblesupp...ooltip-tool-nt/

It's much easier to use than older methods. The only advice I have for you is to upgrade to the latest version of e-Sword and use supported utilities to make what you want to. I don't know what you would need to spend money on.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Very good suggestions. Standard editing makes for good reading.

Hello Friend,

Josh Bond, the owner of this site and the creator of many of the modules, has made a list of the software that he uses to make these e-Sword modules.   Perhaps there is something herein that you could use.

http://www.biblesupp...h-biblesupport/

Also as has been pointed out several times on this thread, another dear brother, Brent has constructed that handy tool called "ToolTip Tool NT".  With this little piece of free software it's possible to do almost all your module work.  Blessings. lg
