I use this translation for comparison only. No one knows how to pronounce the tetragrammaton, which are the four letters that make up God's Name, though many think they know. The reason no one knows how to pronounce the tetragrammaton is because the dots and dashes called nikkud which shows what the vowel sounds are in the words, does not exist in any ancient Hebrew text when it comes to the tetragrammaton. I have come across 5 different spellings and pronunciations of the tetragrammaton in English. They are Yahweh, Yahveh, Yehovah, Yahuwah and Yahuvah, and everyone of them will say the others are wrong, and I am sure there are many more that I haven't come across. Because of millenniums of fear and Jewish prohibition against speaking God's name out loud other titles became used. The most popular is Adonai, there are others also such as El, HaShem and Elohim. Because of this the very few in history that knew how to pronounce His Name correctly died off never sharing it, thus it was lost. The sage Abba Saul stated "one who pronounces the divine name with its letters has no share in the world to come.", there may be some truth to that. I believe that there is so much power in God's true name that He Himself made sure that it would become lost, so that no one could use the power of His Name in vain. Jesus being God's Son, God made flesh, The tetragrammaton would be a part of His true Name also. Which is why Revelation 19:12 states " His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself." What do you think is in that name that NO MAN KNOWS? That's right the tetragrammaton, the true pronunciations of God's true Name.

I have my doubts about a "corrected" KJV when the descripition is spelled as "King lames."  How lame can we get?  Before I rely upon the authority of someone who tells me that they "corrected" the text, I need to know thier qualifications for doing such.  What has been suggested here has been done to various versions stretching from Rotherham in 1898 and several other times over the century.

The reason it has an I instead of a J is because the name was spelled with an I back in the day, and there was no J sound at the time his parents named him. So instead of using the J like many I used the I like the original King Iames bible spells the name. Duurrr.

This is a wonderful version, and I have owned the physical copy of the Word of Yahweh for over a year now. I love the use of the beautiful names. Please don't misjudge this work based on a typo in the above description. 

Not a typo, but rather the way they spelled the name back in his day.

I think the king "lames" part is human error and only Jesus is perfect. Besides, the typo only exists here on the webside in the description for this software. 

I know the J is where the error lies not the I as there was no J back in the day the King Iames bible was written. 

Exactly! Too many people get hung up on "You should call Him Yehoshua NOT Jesus!" The Lord knows our hearts. Just like you said. Well said!

I'm not certain anyone monitors this any longer; however, I have a question. I've recently switched to Apple MacBook and e-Sword X. Most all of my resources have been downloaded, but not WOY which I truly desire to be included. Does anyone know if I click "download" above, will it be installed on the MacBook or was that strictly for Windows? Thanks for any assistance and may Yahuweh bless the sincere seeker of truth always!

Just re-downloaded this tonight.
I believe this is just a  ".BBLX File" and you just have to COPY the "WoY.BBLX File" to the E-SWORD FOLDER DIRECTORY.

Once you open the e-Sword Application it will be added to its "BIBLES Tab" where you can CLICK or choose which version you prefer.

Example: KJV, KJV+,WoY

And just CLICK the "WoY Tab"

I know it's been 3 months+  but hope it helps!

Thank you and that is correct for a Windows computer but Apple does not recognize .bblx files. I learned it has to be converted to a .bbo file which is easily done by download the conversion tool from the e-sword website. Again, thanks for your responding regardless.
