A bit of graphical information, such as a screenshot or two might prove helpful as to what one might expect to see. As they say, "A picture is better than a thousand words." This is to say, I like to be able to see it before I commit to it. The only exception is God, for obvious reasons.

I must agree....a screenshot or two would work very nicely....on this....for just the reasons you gave APsit190.

Thanks for the screenshots.

OK, going on what I've seen in the screenshots, it is not a dictionary I would use. However, for  person who is doing basic or learning to drive type Bible study, as in the "milk of the word" (Heb 5:13) kind of Bible study, I think this would be a good dictionary to start with and use. It gives "bare bones" information which will help a new believer to get a basic grasp of what words mean from the original text.

As I think on this, I can see ways of creating ways of having several kinds of distributions of e-Sword based on where a person is at in his or her walk in Christ. Basic resources for new believers, such as this and others would make ideal CD/DVD distributions for them.

Blessings,

So, if you looked up the Strong's reference for knowledge in the Dodson Dictionary it would tell you that the Greek word for knowledge is knowledge??

This 'reference' work is just an exercise in stating the obvious and the 'compiler' (it didn't need an author) of this information was clearly just after a quick buck rather than a helpful book. I hope I'd have the humility to learn Bible Truth from any Truthful resource, but I really wouldn't insult the intelligence of anyone who studies the Bible with this.

Listtome it is a simple Greek dictionary based on the root-word. (not on context)

And "knowledge" is not the only definition.

The first word after the Strong-number is the Lexical Form(nominative singular)

The second word is the Genitive Ending

The third word is "the" in Greek.

it is a feminine noun (not the verb "have knowledge")..

G1108 γνῶσις, εως, ἡ
Noun, Feminine
knowledge, doctrine, wisdom

G1922 ἐπίγνωσις, εως, ἡ
Noun, Feminine
knowledge, discernment, recognition
