ed. by Geofrey Bromiley is an updated version still in copyright. E-sword ISBE is PD. Theology does not change. Of course archeologically and linguistcally Orr (Ed.) is dated. In other words, if U want to study geography and something about greek and hebrew, as well as MSS, textual criticism, then one needs to find a more up to date source. Other than that Orr (Ed.) has words, which NIDNTT, NIDOTT do not cover. Hastings works have also great articles as well. However be critical of anything you read from anyone teaching. Test all teachings.
What are the NIDNTT and NIDOTT, please?
I have the 5 volume hard back set of ISBE, however I use the digital version for its being more searchable.
When you say "edited by", just how 'edited' are they, if you know?
NIDNTT = New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology. Colin Brown edited this standard reference work
http://themelios.the...gy-and-exegesis
also abridged:
https://www.accordan...T-Now-Available
NIDOTT = New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis.
"When you say "edited by", just how 'edited' are they, if you know? "
edited by = editor of that reference work but I have no idea exactly their role.
These are more Conservative reference works than their critical counter parts TDNT & TDOT

It looks kind of like you're trying to get a straight answer here...
Good luck with this crowd, lol.
Logos offers the 1915 version, and from what I could see in comparing the preface of this one (in the "Information" selection ) to the preface of the one Logos markets (what portion is visible in the "preview" option of https://www.logos.co...be-1915-edition) is that they appear identical for all intents and purposes, with only a few omisions on this e-sword module at the heading.

I did compare a little more than this, and they both seem congruous. Someone let me know if they find any significant difference. Thus, I'm gonna say this is the 1915 version.
