OK, I think the reason for not finding the file is because you were probably looking for "Scott Walter Bible Handbook OT" or something similar in that vein. The Actual name of the file you should have been looking for is "Bible Handbook Old Testament.topx" for the OT and etc.

hey...thanks for commenting. i didnt have a prob locating the file. my prob was installing it. the install worked for the topx but not for the exe files of both OT and NT. so if anyone wants to get it done the first time, just go with topx.

Orrrrr maybe the admin can just remove the exe ones so there is no more people encountering the same issue

When you downloaded the files did you download the .topx files or the .exe files? The .exe files are self-installable files while the .topx are the modules themselves that require the module installer. 

Both files will be in the reference library, there is a drop menu at the top of the reference library window which lists all of the Topic (topx) and Reference (refx) modules you have installed 

i used the exe..i tried it one last time before giving up and using topx. the topx worked lol.

i was asking if there is a specific resource that you can recommend that is similar to the bible background commentary that is cheaper or free on here.

if it is too much work to identify a specific resource, i understand..will just stick with the highly rated stuff on here and on the built in for now

It should be in the e-Sword folder in your Programs Folder as that is the default location used by the Module Installer 

okay, tried that...but still cant find it even after restarting esword..is it supposed to show up in the commentaries or the dictionaries or the reference library? i looked in all 3..

I tried to install this a couple times..it asked me for the folder. I tried on my profile folder..and also in the esword module installer folder but it is still not appearing anywhere lol. help?

It does not automatically indicate where it will be installed unlike the other modules

im not very techie but i think your theword questions would be addressed better on that website's support. they also have a forum looks like someone there is interested in converting myword modules to mysword lol..you guys...

i cant find a text file for Nahum Sarna...there is a site that appears to have his books for download (e-bookdownload.net) but it looks sketchy...i tried it on an old phone i dont mind getting a virus on lol.
