Hi,

How do I export or extract a text from a created Bible module (bblx)? What tools do I use?

The Bible module is a 16th century old Spanish translation with unique characters so the biblical text must be exported as an rtf to preserve the italics and special language characters.

I am using Default List in Abbreviation List.

It appears that the bbli works perfect, it does display the italics in “Compare”. The bblx works fine but does not display italics in “Compare”

So you can say that I already have the solution. Thanks to you!

Thank you once again for sending me the bblx!

It is working but does not display italics in "Compare" mode :mellow: Why is that?

I was trying to use the text you sent me to create a bbli and it continues to give a "Bad Reference" as soon as it gets to Luke :blink:

I tried opening up the text with ToolTip, I tried copying/pasting the text and nothing.

So I had to convert the bblx into bbli with the eSword PC to Apple Module Converter.

I followed your instructions and got the results you said.

I tried creating the module and AGAIN I get "Bad Reference" error on Luke 1:1 (and every verse after that)

I am getting a "Bad Reference" pop up error when it gets to the Book of Luke. It gives me the error for every single verse
 
I have it formatted correctly (Example: Luk 1:1) and I don't see any spaces or anything wrong.

I am getting a “Bad Reference” error on every first verse of every chapter when trying to create a Bible module with ToolTip (see attached pic)

I assume I am missing something (symbol, break?) between chapters. But I have looked for an answer in the ToolTip guide and could not find anything.

Can someone please help me?

Hi,

I am formatting the my Bible text in ToolTip and the original format contains spaces between chapters and a heading for each chapter (see picture attached).

Do I need to remove all spaces and chapter headings in the text?

I had read the ToolTip guide numerous times and have not found the answer to this :mellow:
