#34327 How to sort Topic Notes by Verse??

Posted by WatchingForJESUS on 27 August 2018 - 08:50 AM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

I guess I should have given more information; the verses have the book, chapter, and verse reference along with the verse itself. As I read my Bible and highlighting verses I would then pick out that verse in e-Sword and copy it into the topic 'my highlighted verses'; after doing this for awhile I noticed the verses weren't in alphabetical order by book / chapter / verse # as I just assumed they would be and no way to sort them. After I posted my question on here I just took some time to cut & paste until everything was in order; now when I wish to add a verse I first go to the spot in the topic and create a space to where I want to insert the verse I'm adding.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out; I looked over your Tooltip and it is too much for my mind and memory (or lack thereof) to understand; after I read a few sentences the content of what I have read previous is gone.

God bless you,

Jenn

#34244 How to sort Topic Notes by Verse??

Posted by WatchingForJESUS on 07 August 2018 - 10:30 AM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

In editors I have created a 'topic notes' to store all the verses I have highlighted. Now I see they are not in order by book, chapter, and verse. How do I sort them to be in the order of Scripture??

I now have another question that isn't related to original question; how do I chose to use 'Rich Text Editor' on here??

Thank you to all of you here and may God bless your day!!

Jenn

#33843 Select the text and click the Mark Reference icon to underline a reference in...

On page 88 of the e-Sword Guide it says "Select the text and click the Mark Reference icon to underline a reference in a variety of underline styles" but there is only 1 underline choice currently in the program and it is the thin one. I would be forever grateful if someone would please tell me how to get a bolder line. Thank you in advance and pray you have a blessed night. Sincerely, Jenn
