I figured that the search window was hidden behind something but I couldn't figure out how I recovered it last time. I have managed to fix it by system restore. Again, many thanks all who replied. - What operating system are you using Win 8.1
- What version of e-Sword 10.4.0
- Is this a computer with one monitor? If not what configuration do you have? Dual monitors but it has never been an issue.
- Have you tried Repairing e-Sword via the Control Panel -> Programs and Features. First thing I tried.
Whenever I search there are always two tabs at the bottom of the page.. 'Dictionaries' & 'Bibles'. The screenshot shows only 'Dictionaries'.

Hi all, I only recently found this site while searching for an e-Sword issue fix. What is happening is when I click on the search icon (binoculars) the search window does not appear. I have been in touch with Rick and have done everything possible ( reset settings, uninstall and reinstall etc) but to no avail. I have had this happen once before but can't remember how I resolved it. It looks like to me that the search window is open but hidden somewhere. The window can be moved around with the mouse. Any advice leading to the fix would be GREATLY appreciated.
