Hi turnsouth,

I downloaded you file, copied it to my c:/programs...works just fine.

Thank you so much for this.

Maybe the bug will be fixed in future updates.

Again, thanks so much!

Hi turnsouth,

I just did the same search as you and the resource popped up as a result.

I still can't get to it directly though!

#20215 Jonathan Edwards ".topx" file, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God,...

Posted by F100PHOTOG on 26 January 2014 - 04:45 PM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

Hi,

I can't get the Jonathan Edwards .topx file, "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" to open in my e-sword ref. library.

I read some of this three or four weeks ago.  Now when I go to the ref. library and select the title from the drop down nothing shows up in the reading pane when I click it's title.  All other Jonathan Edwards topics seem to work just fine.  I click on the title in the drop down and the text shows up in the reading pane just as it should.

I downloaded this module, "Works of Jonathan Edwards" quite a while ago from this site previously and everything worked properly.

Files are installed here:  C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword\Edwards, Jonathan - Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God

Here's what I've tried so far, today,

1. Downloaded and installed the latest e-sword, Version 10.2.1

Still won't work

2. Deleted the Edwards files as recommended from doctordavet dot com's instructions.  i.e., open eSword and then go to the “Options / Resource...” dialogue box. Here you’ll find all of your modules by category. In order to delete a module, simply right click it’s title and choose the only option available: “Delete Resource Permanently”. Scroll through and delete all of your extraneous dictionaries & commentaries.

Still won't work

3.  Downloaded the "Works of Jonathan Edwards" module from this site and installed it again, today.  Everything else works except the above mentioned topic

Still won't work

Thanks in advance for any suggestions to remedy the situation.
