#30535 Using Microsoft Word to Make Modules

Posted by yvehill on 22 April 2017 - 06:50 PM in Tips for Module Creation

There was another little tool written used to create resources by some Sth American bloke that was quite grunty and perhaps one of the best tools at that time, but I don't remember what it was called (a real pity).

I used that tool a lot!  It was called Biblos.  I have version 1.2.1.  His name was Joaquin Fernadnez.  joaquinf@cantv.net   I wish there was something like that for SQLite... holy grail indeed.

#30527 ToolTip Strong's Number Font Size

Posted by yvehill on 21 April 2017 - 11:44 PM in Module Creation Tools

Hello,

I just started using ToolTip NT, using Strong's Numbers with the words in the verses (like in the KJV+ edition).  I was able to set the Strong Number Formatting options as I like them for superscript and color, but I notice that the font size of my Strong's numbers appears the same size as the text in e-Sword, whereas in the licensed KJV+ download the font of those Strong's numbers is smaller.  Is there any way to configure that in the Strong Number Formatting settings?

KJV+ example : attachicon.gifKJV_strongs.JPG

My attempt in ToolTip NT: attachicon.gifmy_strongs.JPG

Thanks!

I'm having a problem like Chris was at the start of this thread.  I'm working on a Dictionary and the text I want superscript isn't a Strong's number but the parsing information for Greek.  It displays correctly in ToolTip, raised and 8pt.  Under Modules I have "Font Size Set by e-Sword" checked only.  BUT, when it is saved as a .dctx file and then looked at in e-Sword it isn't 8pt anymore.  It is raised and the color I assigned but the font size conforms to regular text.  If I change the text size in e-Sword it changes up and down but it's the same size as the standard body text not smaller for superscript.  Is the problem that it's a dictionary, or maybe because it's not a Strong's number but just text like N-GSF?  I can uncheck "Font Size Set by e-Sword" if necessary but it makes it harder to use for people with bad eye sight.  Suggestions?
