#20221 LXX+ grammatical code don't show

Posted by e-sword1962 on 27 January 2014 - 07:45 AM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

INstalled the LXX+ again (http://www.biblesupp...ng-infobblxexe/)

The same situation:

KJV+ shows tooltips of BDBThayerStrongKJCTVM.dctx   module  (only strong numbers)

LXX+  shows neither STrong nor gramm. codes

LXX+ shows grammar codes when I click the code and have ROBINSON active in the dictionary window

I also downloaded from there (or at least I think so). Does your module work properly? I'll download again and check.

#20218 LXX+ grammatical code don't show

Posted by e-sword1962 on 27 January 2014 - 06:43 AM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

The only solution I've found so far is to import Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes (TheWord) and save as the E-sword module. It works not as a Tooltip, but at least when I click on the grammatical code it shows me a definition in the dictionary window.

#20212 LXX+ grammatical code don't show

Posted by e-sword1962 on 26 January 2014 - 12:11 PM in e-Sword Questions & Answers

Hi,

I downloaded some new modules for v. 10.2.1

one with Strong numbers and grammatical codes (parsing):

LXX+. -  Septuagint LXX Greek Old Testament keyed to Strong Numbers with parsing info.bblx(1).exe

and the other

BDBThayerStrongKJCTVM.dctx  (dictionary with Strong numbers)

the second module works with KJV+, showing Strong's definitions

but it completely shows nothing with the first module i.e. LXX+  (neither Strong numbers nor parsing descriptions.

What can be the problem?

#20167 How to convert dctx files into dct files?

Posted by e-sword1962 on 23 January 2014 - 03:34 PM in e-Sword Modules / Resources

I have some modules that I'd like to use in other programs which can only import old E-sword modules. How, for example, could I convert a DCTX module into DCT one?

Again, I took my RTF file and saved as UTF-8 - then it worked OK regardless the "OLD RTF CODE" checked or unchecked

So I used my RTF file again and 1st trial - wrong font display (OLD RTF CODE was unchecked)

2nd trial - success but this time  I had "OLD RTF CODE" checked.

One more detail :-) Now I remember what I did to succeed. I copied the content of the WORD file into the NOTEPAD and saved the text as UTF-8 and then copied and pasted into the ToolTip program.

#16066 Creating a dictionary module (DCTX) with Polish characters

Posted by e-sword1962 on 02 March 2013 - 11:59 AM in e-Sword Tools & Utilities

Thank you guys. Finally, after many trials, I succeeded  in creating a dictionary with appropriate Polish font displaying. What I noticed is that the MARK should not be left at the end of file (it's misleading that it appears after variables are launched - one doesn't know whether it sholud be left or not). When I tried many times to create my dictionary and left the same abbreviation from the previous trial  a dictionary file was created but it wasn't seen in E-sword though present in the E-sword directory. I also don't know why my first trials with ToolTip Tool NTv1.69 produce wrong font display but after some time it created appropriate fonts. Anyway, I'm happy that with your help I have this dictionary now :-)
