This is a zip file containing 19 Bible files that will work in eSword v8.06. See the screenshot for the translations contained in the zip file.
To the best of my ability to recall, these all came from the old eSword Users Module Site. Perhaps someone can use these Bible modules.
Larry's got a point. The further back in time you go, the worse formatted modules you find. And that makes many e-Sword 8 modules poorly formatted. That was another barrier to hosting e-Sword 8 modules. The same can be said for older version 9 modules too but we're cleaning those one at a time.

Josh, I just did a permanent erase of over 1100 eSword v8 TOP files because they were not trustworthy in either their spiritual content or their formatting. I've had files going all the way back to v7 that I'm getting rid of. Why? Lack of quality formatting and many are of questionable spiritual origen. An analogy would be: "Why keep a sack of garbage under the bed when their is free steak and potatoes sitting on the table?"

That is a real good question. I know that I tried converting them before uploading the bibles, and several did convert (voer 100) - but some modules were locked and did not convert. The only thing I can suggest is to try it and see what happens.

The correction was made to the original zip file. Sorry Brothers for my mistake. Please forgive my carelessness. I have NOT screened any of these modules for accuracy. I am only offering these to people who still use eSword v8. If you can use these, then good - if you switch to eSword v10.xx>, then great!
In my opinion, eSword v10 is leaps and bounds better than v8 in both module quality and useability. An example: v8 only offered a few devotional modules (which I use daily), but in v10 I have over 34 devotions to pick and share from. That's just one tiny improvement - the list is long.
