This is the complete, 1769 King James Version (Authorized Version) of the Bible with the Apocrypha.

While their place in the canon is disputed, apocrypha resources are beneficial when an author refers to them or for original language study.

e-Sword shows the apocrypha books in blue in the Scripture Navigation Tree (Bible Books window). In addition, the following texts and their placement are:
  • Susanna is Daniel chapter 13.
  • Bel and the Dragon is Daniel chapter 14.
  • Additions to the Book of Esther are found at the end of Esther 10:3 in blue text.
  • Prayer of Azariah is between Daniel 3:23 and Daniel 3:24 in blue text.
  • Letter of Jeremiah is found in Baruch chapter 6
Previous versions of this module had missing, misplaced, and inaccurate information in the Apocrypha sections.

the problem is this is the " cambrige version "  , if you look online, they all have that spelling.Like you, i dont think its correct, or why its like that .But there it is.

Cannot see the KJVA Apocrypha verses in Content under the Mysword bible interface which has only the 66 bibles names

Could you please add Strongs to future versions. I have yet to see an e-sword bible  with both of them. Another bible app called SWORD has such a version: King James Version (1769) including Apocrypha, with Strongs Numbers and Morphology

It would be a great addition and will make it easier to study. Thanks!

Hi there,

Wonderful.

Thank you very much for the KJV with Apocrypha.

I use it a a lot.

If you have the time there are many of us who would like to see a Mac conversion of KJVA file.

I hear its quite easy to do but that beyond my capability.

Thanks again.

Rev. G

Is there a version for MySword?

I had the Old Version of this, before I Lost my Home to Fire. It did not have Red Lettering. I Know many Love Red Letter Bibles but I Find them harder to read. I Love The KJV, Love having The Apocrypha, and want to have a KJVA with no Red Lettering. Is that possible?

King James Version w/ Apocrypha
The e-Sword.exe downloaded direct from www.e-sword.net has been updated since 2019-08-08 to include the Download option for Bibles in English, to include King James Version w/ Apocrypha, Published in 1769; public domain. The caption is KJVA, the filename is kjva.bblx
When using e-Sword, use the tab "Options" and "Display settings" to set the "Red Letter" option either as active, or as not selected, as you prefer.
