What's New in Version 1.2 (See full changelog)

  • 1.1 Updated module information
  • 1.2 Upload Jon's fix to make module version 11 compliant.

BTW, I am 60 and started learning Hebrew about a year ago? I don't remember exactly. I have been slowly working through it and use many free to low cost resources.

When I installed it into e-sword, all the Hebrew words were gibberish western letter characters although all the English lettering and numbering came out right. Is there a fix for this?

I installed this hebrew bible on e-sword desktop version 10 and words were display correctly, but then upgraded to e-sword version 11 and words were gibberish.

Also, I converted the .bblx to bbli for using on my iPhone but again words were gibberish. Do this module/bible needs to be upgraded to be compatible with latest versions of e-sword bith desktop and iOS versions?

thanks in advance!

thanks for the fix!! I can now read both Tanach and Brit Chadashah in Hebrew! Uploaded bibles in my iPhone and PC -- Works! Thanks a bunch!!!!

Kepping an backup e-Sword10.exe executable in same folder with e-Sword.exe is working atm.

I was looking around on how to fix and maybe we can bind this two again.

Peaces.

The last version is working. Thank You!

Is there something I'm doing wrong?  Why is the first verse in each chapter just gibberish?

Deu 32:1 HWSG  äÇàÂæÄéðåÌ äÇùÌÑÈîÇéÄí åÇàÂãÇáÌÅøÈä åÀúÄùÑÀîÇò äÈàÈøÆõ àÄîÀøÅé-ôÄé:

That is what I see.  All the other verses are fine -- only the first verse.

Thanks,

-Ron

I got it to work.  Even though I had installed the latest version.  I had to delete the file and reinstall it.  It works now.

Thanks,

-Ron

The whole bible is just question marks?? I have other Hebrew versions that work fine.. am I doing something wrong?

So most of the text shows alright, but the first verse of EVERY chapter looks like this: Est 3:1 àÇçÇø äÇãÌÀáÈøÄéí äÈàÅìÌÆä âÌÄãÌÇì äÇîÌÆìÆêÀ àÂçÇùÑÀåÅøåÉùÑ àÆú-äÈîÈï áÌÆï-äÇîÌÀãÈúÈà äÈàÂâÈâÄé åÇéÀðÇùÌÒÀàÅäåÌ åÇéÌÈùÒÆí àÆú-ëÌÄñÀàåÉ îÅòÇì ëÌÈì-äÇùÌÒÈøÄéí àÂùÑÆø àÄúÌåÉ:
What's up with that?
