In 1909, he became principal of New College and taught New Testament Literature there as well as being the moderator of the Free Church general assembly.

About Bible Characters From Old and New Testaments - 6 Volume Set
Famous minister Ben Haden once proclaimed, "Bible Characters is biography at its best."

Bible Characters From Old and New Testaments is the crowning literary achievement of Alexander Whyte. He spent the latter years of his life studying and developing interpretations for the characters of the Bible.

In this classic 19th-century reference, Whyte gives such intimate and inspiring glimpses of everybody from Adam to Zacchaeus that it will seem he must have known these people personally. Covering over 150 Bible figures in 1740+ printed pages, originally bound in 6 volumes, Whyte brings Bible characters to life, showing the importance of even the "lesser" characters. Also not forgotten are the characters in Jesus' parables and the angels from the book of Revelation. This e-Sword module contains 160 topic notes in the single topic module.

FYI: This is not the poorly formatted version floating around for TheWord (and possibly e-Sword). This one is done "right", according to my definition of the word "right". :)
Brother Josh, thank you so much for all of these treasures. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight.. lol, The Lord has put such a desire in my heart to get into His Word as of late, I was looking into all kinds of Bible software and much of it was so expensive. My good friend and brother in The Lord called me a while ago and could barely speak due to his excitement, he told me that he found all of this stuff last night and, well he warned me that I should look forward to a loooong night. Thank God for this blessing, and thank you!
Thanks! I'm glad you and your friend found us. My friend Peter had a hand in these Bible modules too. Looking back on them, this module and the James Hastings Bible characters modules are two of my most favorite topic modules.

comment: Could you make the mac/ipad version available please!
