Dear "Alexander The Great Ruler", please explain which operating system your computer uses, and ensure that you have loaded the latest relevant version of e-Sword from https://e-sword.net/ then run to install it. This will overwrite a previous e-Sword application, as long as that is closed.

If any download does not have authorization to load into c:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder, then the downloaded file may occur in the following folder. C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword folder.
See an index of this folder with a browser, using the option to view the index of the contents of the folder at "file:///C:/users/user/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program%20Files%20(x86)/e-Sword/"
This is where files downloaded from inside e-Sword are locatable.
Rick Meyers advice to me was: It is a Windows permissions issue on the e-Sword program directory.  Set the "Security" on the e-Sword program directory (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword\) *AND* the files within it to allow the "Everyone" account Full Control.
Then you can open the downloading folder, and select the file, to instruct the PC to run and to install the downloaded file.

Find your file in the downloading folder as:  555 Difficult Bible Questions Answered.topx

Pay attention to where the e-Sword files are stored for file type bookmarks.lstx; journal.jnlx; study.notx; and topic.topx, which you will want to place in the folder, shown in e-Sword, in the option: "Options"; "Resource settings"; then for either Bibles; Commentaries; Dictionaries; Devotions; Graphics; and Reference Books. Look for the destination folder shown in the "Resources Location" window; and look in the destination folder shown in the "User Files Location" window. To be able to edit the files, you need these files to be in the User Files Location, such as in the c:\users\user\documents\e-sword\ folder. Otherwise if they are in the "Resources Location," then view the content on one of the other e-Sword screens, or through the Reference Library window.

From inside e-Sword, the "Tools" option gives access to the Bible Reading; Daily Devotions; Prayer Requests; Scripture Memory, Graphics Viewer; Reference Library; SermonAudio.com; and STEP Reader.

Read the e-sword_guide.pdf, which is available in e-sword, when it is running, on option "F1", which is the usual "help" option in Microsoft applications. Open page 2, to see the difference between Topic Note (topic.topx) and Reference Library Book (reference.refx) with the option of converting a topic.topx file to the reference.refx format. The e-Sword User's Guide was last updated by BibleSupport.com Revision 8/1/2014, as at 2014/08/01, for e-Sword version 10.4 so please request a new update from Josh Bond, with more comprehensive details, if you need more fully explained step-by-step details.

The Module Installer application from BIBLESUPPORT.com is helpful to quickly copy an e-Sword file with a e-Sword type filename extension, to the relevant folder. The filename.lexx files are not provided for in e-Sword Module Installer at present, so those will need to be linked to the e-Sword Module Installer "moduleinstaller.exe" from the start, settings, option "Choose default applications by file type".
If you reply, explain which type of e-Sword you have loaded, and what operating system you use, and what make of PC you are using.
I downloaded the file, successfully, clicked on the filename, and e-Sword ModuleInstaller.exe moved it to the relevant folder. I was able to view it in the Reference Books section. The filenames are listed in name order, with numbers before alphabetical entries.
ARE YOU READING IT WITH e-SWORD? The use of e-Sword is required, to cover copyright requirements, and to provide you with permission to read book contents in a computerised format.
