Thank you. It is useful.
This timeline places the crucifixion on Wednesday. If my memory is correct (from 1970s-era radio programs), that puts it in line with the old Herbert W. Armstrong Worldwide Church of God view of the Holy Week.
A clock is right at least two times a day. :-)

Cheek out the book by Rev. J. H. Aldrich, "The Day Of Our Saviour's Crucifixion", Written in 1882.

Finely an interpretation That gives us what the scriptures have said all along.

I was raised with the teaching that Crist was Crucified on Friday and to make it fit,

given all kinds of jy-rations to fit it into scripture.

It's also what scripture speaks about Jonah, full filling the prophecy spoken by Jesus.

I believe that Jesus was crucified on Friday, He resurrected on Sunday. Then He went back to the heart of the earth (Sunday night) and took captivity (paradise) to Heaven. so He was raised on the third day and He was in the heart of the earth 3 nights
