Hello, can I ask for more information about this translation.  I note that unfoldingWord are working on ULT (unfoldingWord Literal Text) and UST (unfoldingWord Simplified Text), but yet to find information of this "Son of Man" bible.  I appreciate if more information is given.  Thanks.  Eliran

OK, I recently downloaded this Bible, and had a brief look at it. And it was just that, brief, as in very brief.

Two things which made me go "blurk" about it were:

1. The use of Bold text. This made reading very difficult due to it having a smudged/blurred affect on the text, thus having difficulty in trying to recognize some characters.

2. The font used in the Information dialog and web address (URL) not working. The issue with the font is that it makes some of the characters look as though they are joined, thus not having the ability to distinguish what they are suppose to be; e.g., the characters r and n looking like a an m, and the c and k looking like as one looking weird character. The use of the < and > characters in the web address. These characters are not necessary to use, and in fact cause an error.

So, my sincere suggestion is totally redo the this resource using either Arial, Times New Roman, or Verdana font, and leave out the bold.

RECOMMENDATION: - Rename the Study Note file "STUDY.notx" to another name, such as SOMB-STUDY.notx because the default file that is provided with an initial loading of e-Sword uses the name "study.notx" as the default initial Study Editor file file. Understanding Where the Editors Read Notes Files. (Page 120).

When you first installed e-Sword, three default Notes files were installed including: journal.jnlx (Journal Notes), study.notx (Study Notes), and topic.topx (Topic Notes). These files store the information you enter into the Editors Window. By default, all three file types are located in the e-Sword user directory, usually "My Documents\e-sword".

HINT: The destination directory name is found and can be changed by using the option in e-Sword for the PC, by selecting the tab "Options", "Resource Settings", "Resource Options", and "User Files Location". 

We can use Microsoft File Explorer to browse the folders in our PC, to access our files, and edit the exisiting file names, to change the file names as required. Just make sure that we keep the file name extensions according to the four-letter lower-case letters, as designed for e-Sword by Rick Meyers.
 

HINT: To access the e-Sword User's Guide, open e-Sword, tap the pointer into e-Sword, so that the location of the pointer is located for the PC, then press the F1 function key on the Microsoft keyboard, which is usually used to call up "Help".

You can browse to this document on your PC, which you will find in C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword\e-sword_guide.pdf if you are running e-Sword on a (64-bit) Microsoft Operating System, Windows 10 or Windows 11.
