Charles Thomson, Secretary to the Continental Congress, (one of America’s Founding fathers) produced the first English translation of the Septuagint, made from J Field’s printed Greek text of 1665. To facilitate comparisons, Roman Numerals, Book names and selected chapters and verses have been aligned with the KJV. Verse numbers have been moved to the beginning of each verse. This Septuagint version varies quiet a bit in some book and verse order and I aligned those to the KJV order as much as possible (See Ralph's published Septuagint order). There was a little bit of fuzzy logic in doing this. Thomson also published his own translation of the New Covenant in 1808 which I have included.
