This is a version I have had for a while; may or may not be different from the "NET free" download

First, be aware that the 2nd Edition was released in 2017. It is still available on the Web free, notes included, but has different options when downloading it—it is no longer free if notes are included when you want you want to download it either for e-Sword or a phone. See https://netbible.com/download for more information. (Currently, it's about $19.00 if you want to download it for e-Sword.)

Additionally, it is a respected and scholarly work, worked on and endorsed by many well respected scholars.

Finally, to JasonMoffit above, you need to understand that this Bible, as well as many others, incorporates the best scholarly research available when it comes to Textual Criticism; the study of the transmissions of manuscripts, a very complicated and demanding business. Your references to Revelation 22 and Mark 7 reveal that you aren't aware of just how vast and demanding the work is of comparing manuscripts to determine what was, might be, or was not original in existing manuscripts. So when you see a Bible eliminate a verse, you will almost always see a footnote to tell you what has been eliminated and why; that information is there so you can do you own research, not because the translators are evil, demonic people!

This does not mean the NET Bible is perfect (no Bible is), but just understand that it is far from being, "Oh, just translate the Greek (or Hebrew) into English and be done with it. It doesn't work that way. Not at all!

Yes, very true Starkman. They should check out Daniel Wallace videos on YouTube; one being: How Badly Was the New Testament Corrupted? | Daniel Wallace at SDSU

This "tranlsation" is nothing but a perversion of God's Word. Adding and subtracting text. See comparative of Revelation 22:14; Mark 7:16, 19. this is but a few but more than enough for me to reject it entirely. It's intent is obviously, by the examples above, to mislead and deceive.

And your evidence for that is...?

In my judgement you would be a KJV purest, and anything that's not KJV is (as you put it), "nothing but a perversion of God's Word. Adding and subtracting text," Hey mate.
