Originally published with the title "A New and Concise Bible Dictionary by George Morrish", the Morrish Bible Dictionary is more than a dictionary of Bible words.

Features of the Morrish Bible Dictionary include:
  • Definitions and explanations of almost 5,000 Bible terms, words, doctrines, places, and people.
  • A list of New Testament Synonyms and how they are used by the writers of the New Testament.
  • Introductions and overviews of each book of the Bible.
  • Thousands of Scripture references.
  • Many of the images found in the original version are also included

  • Dyan recreated this module from scratch. Have a look at it, I think you'll find the formatting a little better, all verse refs are tooltipped, entries with same headings have been combined, besides I've also added the synonyms at the end.

Great Resource, thanks.
Hi Josh,
I've downloaded this module a while ago, and I've got to admit she's a pretty good. Although it may be not as comprehensive and exhaustive as some Bible/Theological Dictionaries, yet nevertheless it does go a long way in many of its explanations of Bible definitions.

I tend to use this little dictionary alongside with others that I have as it tends to really compliment them. Where I find this dictionary most complimentary is with the Fausset's and Easton's Bible Dictionaries.

As for that little appendix you added on, well, I gotta admit, not bad at all, mate... not bad at all.

Blessings,
Stephen (Php 1:21).

What an insightful dictionary, God Inspired.
