Sorry, but I still can´t find the Internal List to copy it to the External. I´ve tried to find it somewhere in my HD (in the e-Sword files), when that window of search opens (by clicking the option “Copy Internal List to External”) but nothing matches. I still get the message: “No item corresponds to the search”. It´s discouraging. Perhaps the use of this program requires more ability than I have. Thanks, anyway, for trying to help me.
I repeat, in T4, use the "SCRIPTURE MENU". Select the "ABREVIATION LIST", then select "COPY INTERNAL LIST TO EXTERAL". It is all done via the menus. No need to search your hard drive. No need to do a search of any kind.
This is exactly what I´ve been doing: I open the “SCRIPTURE MENU”, then select “ABBREVIATION LIST” and then “COPY INTERNAL LIST TO EXTERNAL” and nothing happens. It appears no list, only the window to search file “Abbr*text” on the HD (documents – e-Sword Tool Tip NT directory). I have tried on other PC but the result was the same.
Sorry, the menus are not working .
Thank you.
It would probably be better to carry on this conversation in the Forums.
When you click "COPY INTERNAL LIST TO EXTERNAL", you say nothing happens. But then you go on say a "search" window appears. No, this is not a "search" window. It is a standard Windows dialog box ASKING for the NAME YOU want to give the external list and where you want to put it. Look at the caption of the window. What does it say? "Save Bible Book Abbreviation File". Look the the buttons on the bottom right, they say "SAVE" and "CANCEL". Not your typical search window. The program is giving you opertunity to name the file to something you'd like to call it. This is how EVERY file open or save dialog box looks like in T4. Put in any name you'd like. Since this is a simple text file, I use the letter "abbr" at the beginning to remind me that this is an abbreviation list. Once YOU have giving it a name, then click the "SAVE" button.
Ok, brother BH.
It´s more clear to me, now. I´ll do it, as you say.
Thank you,
JA.
ok, how do I download this? I am trying to download e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT 1.69. I click the large button that says "download". It then says that it is "downloading" but absolutely nothing happens. I does nothing even close to downloading. how do you donwload from this site, am I missing something?
"it does nothing even..." excuse my typing
does the dowload button just read download or does it read download (Mirror)
the process is hit the download button that takes you to an agreement page click the agreement box agree & download button appears click that then you go to dowload page where it has download mirror and a history txt file click download mirror
Is there a chance TT will open refx files? I can convert topx easily for the iPad, but can't open several refx that would be nice to have. Or, how can I convert refx to topx? The few files I have converted to the iPad work wonderfully.
On a side note, I would rather stay with e-SwordHD than switch to yet another iPad Bible version. I have spent more than enough time revese-engineering files for one version. I just can't bring myself to do a whole different system. The e-SwordHD is actually very good.

use the Scripture Menu + Abreviation List + Copy Internal List to External. You will then have a list with which you can start to create your own list.
