J.W. McGarvey was president of the College of the Bible, and was very well-regarded by Bible students of all "Christendom."

This commentary set includes his "Fourfold Gospel" (a harmony of the gospels with commentary), Original commentary on Acts, Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, and Thessalonians.

Some of his commentaries are still used in colleges and seminaries around the world today.
