Note: After you download the file to your PC or your android device, the file must then be moved to the MySword folder on your android device. If downloading directly to your android device, you may need to install a file explorer app to be able to move the file to your MySword folder if your device does not have one already.

69 Miscellaneous Apocrypha books in book/journal format for MySword

It didn't download.

It didn't download.

It downloads fine for me. Did you download to your computer or your android device?
It should be made clear that it only downloads as .mybible from a PC - if you attempt to download the file from a mobile or Tablet then it is downloaded as .htm which, of course, is an invalid file type for mysword. This is completely absurd... I just cannot believe the absurdity of it. Thanks for making Apocrypha available, but there shouldn't be one file type for PC and another for mobile. Absurd.

Considering that I've used MySword for a couple of years now, I thought its timely to add a bit of a comment to Pete's instruction of installing third party resources to one's Android device.

If you like me, have Samsung Android devices, then you are in a really good place to be at when it comes to installing files on your Droid device. I own both a Samsung Galaxy S3 smart phone and a Galaxy Note 12.2" Note (tablet). These devices are extremely Windows PC friendly when it actually comes to putting resources in for MySword.

Its is simply a two (or maybe a) three step process:

  • Plug in your phone or tablet into a USB port on your PC
  • Open up Windblown File Exploder (oops, sorry, I mean Windows File Explorer)
  • Go to the folder where you downloaded the file, extract it, then drag an drop it into the MySword whatever folder for the resource

Ha! I know it would be a 3 step process.

It's that simple, uncomplicated, and dead easy.

Now, I can't speak for other brands of Android devices, but I assume that it would be the same for them as it is with Samsung stuff.

Blessings,

I am able to view the text of the whole book but not able to select the chapters from the menu.

The book submenu displays a list of chapters that all display the same text "misc. apocrypha 69"

When I try to select one of the book submenus I get an error window that says Mysword for android - Sorry, there is only one book available.

I have downloaded the file directly with my phone Motorola edge 5g uw (2021) and also tried a copy downloaded to my laptop and transferred to phone.

No luck.
