About this collection:
A must have resource for every scholar, student, or minister!
The Early Church Fathers is a 38-volume collection of writings from the first 800 years of the Church. This collection is divided into three series, Ante-Nicene Fathers, Nicene-Fathers, and Post-Nicene Fathers.

These writings are not to be confused with the Bible! The early Christians who wrote are not inspired as the Bible was. They are not part of the Bible. They are absolutely not authoritative in determining doctrine. Only the Bible is authoritative and inspired. However, these quotes do contain an interesting snapshot of the doctrine early Christians believed after the apostolic age.

Keep getting a corrupt setup message.
Just downloaded and ran the setup. The resource installs and works fine? Is it downloading all the way? I can email it to ya....
would you please email the files. Thanks so much.
File does download ok and it installs ok. But it installs to the e-sword folder in Program Files rather than the My Documents/e-sword folder. Either change the destination install folder during the install to My Documents or move the files over when you're finished installing and they will work just fine.

Tertullian, Commodianus, Minucius Felix, and Origen?! Where in the world is Athanasius?!

Tertullian, Commodianus, Minucius Felix, and Origen?! Where in the world is Athanasius?!

I noticed also.. like Jheokorea that Athanasius was missing.. the Post Nicene Fathers no.4 is identical to the Anti-Nicene Fathers no.4..

This url has the list on it if needed.

Thanks Josh for making it available on eSword .. I have all them in PDF format but it is easier at times directly on eSword.

Blessings in Christ
