Oswald Chambers

e-Sword Version:
9.x - 10.x

Tab Name:

My Utmost for His Highest, by Oswald Chambers, is one of the most enduring best-sellers of our time. Noted for its rich, spiritual insights and life-changing perspectives. My Utmost for His Highest contains 366 daily readings encouraging you to follow Christ in every area of your life. Oswald Chambers, who died in 1917 at the age of 43, originally shared these thoughts as lectures at the Bible Training College in Clapham, England, from 1911 to 1915, and as devotional talks while serving with the Young Men's Christian Association from 1915 to 1917. These lectures and talks were later compiled by Chambers' wife and published in book form in 1927 in England, and in 1935 in the United States.

This is an update from the original e-Sword module and an Ipad/Iphone e-Sword module has been added.

My Utmost for HIs Highest is more than a devotional, it is a life-changer.  The wisdom of this book is truly from the Holy Spirit. Each time I read it the Lord shows me new meaning.

This is the best devotional I have ever read. It challenges me every time I read it-and I have for several years.

Please make a mysword version. Thank you very much.

here is the mysword version

This devotional was one of the first third party ones I downloaded not long after I first got e-Sword. And from what was available for e-Sword at that time, I have to say it was one of the best devotional books I've come across.

I never expected to see the degree of spiritual insight this devotional had. And it has to be said that this is one which surpassed those that I've encountered before. This actually comes from a person who isn't really into reading devotionals, and who fails miserably at the thing called "quiet times."

Anyway, I recommend this devotional to anyone who's never given any thought to them before, and actually have a decent go at reading it. I can assure you, you wont fall asleep reading it.

This module reads somewhat differently than a paperback book I have . This version has more depth. What edition is the source of this module?

The Download options as at Aug 24, 2016 are (1) My Utmost for His Highest.devx (2) my_utmost_for_his_highest.devi

When using e-Sword for Windows version 13.0.0 the Devotions are seen on the option Tools > Daily Devotions.
