About Scripture4all
The objective of Scripture4all (read "Scripture for all") is to make the original Scriptures accessible for a broad public by developing tools to bridge the gap between the original Bible texts and Bible translations.
For now the following products have been or are being developed:
  • an interlinear program called Interlinear Scripture Analyzer (basic) (ISA)
  • freely accessible online pdf interlinears.
Scripture4all offers a basic licence of ISA free of charge. In this way people can make themselves familiar with the program and find out for themselves what is written in the original languages.

My initial impressions:

There are two files with 2008 editions that have 08 in the file names.

There are two files with 2017 editions that have 17 in the file names.

I did not notice any significant differences in the wording between the 2008 and 2017 editions, but I didn't look for long.

In my e-Sword for Windows version 13, the 2008 edition files default to gold Hebrew characters and gold Greek characters.

In my e-Sword for Windows version 13, the 2017 edition files default to green Hebrew characters and magenta Greek characters.

All of the files have TVM codes embedded.

The files with BSB in the file names have an additional BSB translation embedded in the verses, in addition to the Scripture4all translation.

The files with BSB in the file names have morphology codes embedded in the verses in addition to TVM codes.

These additional morphology codes are not RMAC codes.

One dictionary that can properly support these additional morphology codes is the Berean.dcti.zip download at the following URL:

http://www.biblesupp...ransilteration/

Hi,

These files suit with iOS or Android or MacOS… but not for windows.

No need for additionnât dictionaries in those platforms. 2008 and 2017 are différents in many cases.

Thank you for your feedback.

GOD bless

Only two of the files do not display properly in a current version of e-Sword for Windows. The two files that do not display properly in e-Sword for Windows are the ones with the "+" at the end of their file name.

There is no dictionary that I am currently aware of that further explains the morphology codes in these modules.  The Berean.dcti dictionary module that I mentioned previously also does not properly support these morphology codes.

Can you summarize the translation differences between the 2008 and the 2017 editions?

Is there any situation in which the 2008 edition would be better than the 2017 edition?

Hi Difference between 2008 and 2017 : basically old and new English words. to-ye Versus to-you for exemple and some others differences. In general 2017 is better for me but I wanted to leave the choice to the users. The bibles i format are study bibles. Thus the smallest differences could be important for some students. Regards.

Thanks for the information about the differences between the 2008 and 2017 versions.

The 4/29/2023 version of SPT4All17BSBHebGrkINT+.bbli isn't displaying correctly on my Android cell phone.  Everything is in one column on the left.

I am not having this same problem with the 4/30/2023 version of SPT4All08BSBHebGrkINT+.bbli

Actually, I think my Android phone isn't really wide enough to use the SPT4All17BSBHebGrkINT+.bbli and SPT4All08BSBHebGrkINT+.bbli modules as intended.  Some of the columns are so wide that you can only get one column to display.  Two columns side-by-side would be too wide for the phone.

It would be nice if the SPT4All17BSBHebGrkINT+.bbli module also included the Hebrew TVM codes (H8675 through H8853).  You've do have those Hebrew TVM codes in the SPT4All17BSBHebGrkINT.bbli module, which I appreciate.

Added TVM info in 1.2 version of file SPT4All17BSBHebGrkINT+.zip

Thank you very much!

All of these files appear to be the bbli format. Am I wrong on that?

The several that I downloaded were.

If there is a bblx perhaps someone could share with me it's file name.

appreciate the work here, I know the many hours it takes to generate modules for esword.

Kind regards,
