Wow...
I was just watching the daystar cable channel on my TV and heard the preacher say something very profound.
He said that God loves us just as we are. But..... He loves us too much to leave us as we are so... he will correct us.....

Did it say how God is going to change us? My understanding if that we have to make the first effort. God's Word change us.
