Don't Let Your Mountain Keep You Down In The Valley

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

What a powerful demonstration of the power of faith. Jesus had just delivered a boy from demonic possession. The boys father first had brought his son to the disciples. The disciples however was unable to deliver the boy from the demonic spirit. When the disciples came privately to Jesus they asked,"Why could not we cast him out?"
Jesus' reply to them was "Because of your unbelief."

In our Christian walk in the wake of trials and tribulation we so often times allow our mountains to keep us down in a valley. We have faith when everything is great and going our way but, all too often when down in that valley facing what seems at that moment an impossible mountain, doubts and worries begin to set in robbing us of our joy.

We spend so much time losing battles simply because we allow ourselves to listen to negative thoughts and lies that are of the devil. Unbelief is an absence of faith. This is what Jesus spoke of to the disciples.

If you want to take authority over the mountains in your life and come out of that valley, you are going to have to put your faith in action. How, is through "prayer and fasting." If you want "Victory" in your life, those mountains have got to come down. Jesus wants us not to just have faith in the good times but put that faith in action in the bad times!

Every moment should be a life full of the Holy Ghost and of faith. If not, then unbelief will always creep into your life robbing you of the joy and peace that comes through active faith that God desires us to have.

God wants to turn your doubting into shouting! From being depressed to being blessed! Too turn your setback into a comeback! "Praise God!" Remember, Jesus said if you would have faith as a grain of mustard seed! Now a mustard seed is the smallest of seeds but when sown and is grown becomes the greatest of herbs and becomes a mighty tree.

The Bible says that God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. Active or dormant it is there. We need to activate that faith so we can live the kind of life Jesus wants us to live. Ponder on that awhile. There is Spiritual Growth when Faith Is put Into Action and with that comes Power through the Holy Ghost to move Mountains. "Praise God!" Jesus said that nothing would be impossible!

In closing:
The point in this lesson that Jesus wants you and I to understand is if we will put our faith in action, without wavering, He will respond. It is our faith that God honors and it is our faith in action that God responds too.

Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

God Bless

Thank you, my brother...
