There is a common tendency with people to make negative judgments about other people. In high schools, this tendency shows itself in cliques. A few popular kids get into a group, and gradually begin to think that they are better than others because they are better liked. Kids who aren't "in" may become objects of pity, or contempt, or even of cruel jokes....

What is in a NAME.

Matt. 13:3-10 .
The Sower is the Son of Man, or Jesus Christ, in His Divine Humanity. He is called the Sower, because the seed sown is the Eternal Truth, or the Word of God, and all Truth, properly so called, is from Jesus Christ, who on that account calls Himself the Truth.
By sowing, when spoken of Jesus Christ, is to be understood the insemination...

Luke 17:20
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said,  The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Jehovah and Lord Himself

By rdlb, 12 August 2018 - - - - - - · 1,958 views

Jehovah Himself descended and assumed a Human in order that He might effect redemption. The name Lord is used and not Jehovah, because the Jehovah (יְהֹוָה  Yᵉ hôvâh,  yeh-ho-vaw'  of the Old Testament is called the Lord (κύ ριος  kýrios,  koo'-ree-os) in the New, as is shown in the following passages.

Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah ; and...

In the beginning of my walk with God

By rdlb, 07 August 2016 - * * * * * · 5,224 views

In the beginning when I first came to acknowledge the existence of a "God" the first scripture that came to my mind was John 1:1. Interesting that this particular scripture was one of the few I had memorized as an Atheist. If I wanted to know God it would have to be through His Word and what ever Jesus did I must do, since Jesus was the pattern son.

From Church to church, etc, and eventually God's Word.

After my initial acknowledgment that there is a God, I entered into a interesting conundrum or enigma with people. Those Christians who then began to accept my newly found belief indicated that I had accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. Frankly I had no real idea of just who He was, my acceptance was that there is a God. Others of whom I car pool...

I was raised going to Church on a intermittent basis attending various denominations throughout my early youth.  As an avid reader of anything at even a young age I read the Bible (KJV), all of the Seventh Day Adventist Bible stories and Uncle Arthur's bedtime stories,(Parents bought the whole set but did not attend), and the World Book Encyclopedia.  Ove...
